Study Patients Wanted – Overweight with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
 
·        Irregular periods
·        Unwanted facial/body hair
·        More than 30% over ideal body weight

 
If you are affected by these symptoms you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study.  The medication under study has been used for several years to treat other metabolic conditions and in clinical trials was associated with decreased appetite and mild weight loss.  The research medication is not a weight loss product and this is not a diet/weight loss study.
 
To participate you must:
·        Be a generally healthy women between the ages of 18 and 38
·        Have irregular menstrual cycles
·        Be 30% or more over your ideal body weight
